Is paying online safe?

We use a trusted credit/debit card processor called Paypal

• The club does not have any access to your credit card details.
• All transactions are carried out on the secure Paypal account. The little padlock symbol in your browser means PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to PayPal using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to PayPal, they check that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
• You don't have to create a Paypal Account to pay, just use your credit/debit card.
• PayPal is used by millions of internet users every day.

As with any credit card transaction, the club has to pay a certain % as a fee. Despite this, the saving in time and effort for your club committee members (remember we are all volunteers) makes it worthwhile.
