Report from the Jurassic Coast

Well an early start was decided upon 0830hrs start.
As we drove by Swyre we could see Charles B on his Advance Alpha. So there was hope.
We arrived at our chosen T.O. and lauched into a WSW so it was a bit slow on the way to Charmouth and some consideration given to the gaps.
Over all of them successful and some playtime, with Robin W practising spirals on his Zeno 2. Others wafting about, and Thankyou Fritz for being the "adventurer".

Report from Ringstead

We had planned to go to Eype but a message came through to say Ringstead was flyable.
Fritz said lets save fuel as the Coast Run to Lulworth was achievable.
We arrived and took off joined by several other and headed along the Coast. The light was very good and after a couple of hours it went almost due South and increased.
Time to land and home for tea and cake.

Report from Ringstead

Well a lift to Ringstead (Yes Please) and up and away it was for pleasant hour and a half.
We could see rain coming from the west and the sky inland did not look good.
So we all landed and had a Chat and then went home.

Report from Ringstead

Reports from Bell were very light and the sea breeze had started at Portland.
So decision made and headed for Ringstead, Robin had the Zeno 1 for me to try and it proved a mean lean machine.
He was on the Zeno 2 and put it through its paces. Landed for lunch and joined by several others enjoying the delights of cliff soaring.
Congratulations for Jacek F on his first flight to the cliffs.

Report from Beer Head

A great number of Wessex decided to invade Devon today. What a splendiferous time was had by all.
Some doing the Sidmouth run and others at great height cruising across Seaton Bay and others making Lyme Regis.

Report from the Jurassic Coast

An early start, despite Steve's anemometer reading, a coffee before finding it flyable on the low cliffs.
A cruise in a WSW down to Charmouth, it must have changed direction to SW because there were no problems getting over Golden Cap.
Several went over "Spittles" the other side of the river but a band of rain was visible west of Lyme Regis so headed back to the other side of the Hive.
Two brave souls ventured towards St Catherines Chapel but came down on the seaward side of Abbotsbury. A pair of Apache Helicopters flew low over Chisel Beach.
A great morning was had by all.

Report from Ringstead

It was blowing 25mph on T.O. so Pilots went to the bottom to T.O.
The less brave sat it out. However 5 Pilots managed to get to Smedmore (Kimmeridge) and get back.

Report from Ringstead

After a very strong morning at the Jurassic Coast, it looked on for an evening jolly along the Ringstead Coast Run.
On arrival 3 were already up and away, but it was too strong at T.O. 23mph. I waited for 30 mins and got off after a slight lull.
Once on the cliffs it was smooth & laminar down to Lulworth as Grant was coming back from Gad Cliff , I checked the readings at Portland and it was easing off so it was back to White Nothe to ensure airtime and back to T.O. for an easy landing.
