Report from Bell Hill

An altogether good day at Bell especially for the BCC. Well done Team Wessex.
I spent the first 90mins accustoming myself to the Thermals and gaining height.
Then at the far end of the ridge I hooked a boomer that took me to 4068'amsl.
I had to big ear and bar to escape the white room and popped out before Winterbourne Stickland. It was then basically a glide with the occasional beep from the various to the junction between Winterbourne Kingston and Bere Regis. Many thanks to Sean S for the retrieve along with 4 others.

Report from the Jurassic Coast

Met up with the usual suspects hoping for a run to Charrmouth.
However, it was WSW which made it hard to cross the gaps several attempts to cross Freshwater unsuccessful.
Del Boy did just make it but looked at West Bay and turns back, played around for an hour until it became too strong.

Report from the Jurassic Coast

At last some sunshine , got sunburnt. The first trip down to Charmouth was going so well, until we got to Charmouth.
It felt very strange above the green and very little lift.I thought not another wind change, I beat a hasty retreat back to Golden Cap I watched 2 Pilots land below Golden Cap on the West side and as I approached , what I thought would be lift wasn't. Another 2 landed below me and David Mc Was flying towards me about a third of the way up GC, so I moved out and round the East side of GC where I at last found lift. Cruised back to the landing field for lunch, Then we went down to Charmouth again with more lift everywhere this time and cruised back only to hear 4 more Pilots had bombed at the West side of GC.

Report from Ringstead

What a great day at the "Office" Grant did lots of Tandems, Sean was last seen at Kimmeridge some made it to Durdle Door.
Strange conditions Portland showed SW consistently but past White Notthe there was plenty of lift, and the grey stratus clouds gave plenty of uplift.
A good day was had by all.

Report from the Jurassic Coast

Another away day for the Wessex Posse. I counted 20m Pilots on T.O at one stage.
A short wait for the Heli Evac and then a break to let the drizzle clear. And back to enjoy another run run down to Charmouth.

Report from Ringstead

Arrived as Pilots were coming back from Lulworth. Went out to the cliffs and only managed to get to Bats Head. It was. Pleasant 2 hours in the air, with Grant on the Tandem and some Lats making the cliffs for the first time, well done Charles B and Matt W.

Well what a day wind then no wind sea fog and then lovely. All in all an excellent day with approaching West Bay and no problem getting across and even better over Golden Cap.

Report from Bell Hill

2 days in a row at Bell. Despite it gusting to over 21mph on T.O. several Pilots took a chance. Some even went for an XC over the back.
Some enjoyed the day and some stayed on the ground.

Report from Portland West

Rather than mix it up at Bell hill I decided to stay local, joined by Steve S.
We could see the O/D inland, and we enjoyed a sojourn at Fraggle Rock.
Good height and pleasant Coastal Cruising at this lovely Site.
